How a Brite payment moves

The flow will feel familiar if you have used any open-banking payment before: select Brite, choose your bank from the list shown, log in through your bank's own screen, and approve the amount. Brite itself never asks you to remember a password or register an account — the whole point of the open-banking model it runs on is that your bank stays the single source of authentication.

One difference worth knowing is that Brite has built its own real-time settlement network on top of the standard open-banking rails, which it markets as giving slightly faster confirmation on both deposits and, notably, payouts compared with some older providers in the same space. Brite Payments was founded in Stockholm in 2019, so it has been on the market considerably less time than Trustly, which launched back in 2008.

Getting money back through Brite

A Brite withdrawal returns funds to the bank account that made the deposit, using the same real-time settlement network rather than a generic bank transfer. Because Brite was designed from the start around fast payouts as much as fast deposits, casinos that support it often highlight the withdrawal speed specifically, rather than treating it as an afterthought the way older payment integrations sometimes do.
