Possu, the Youngest Njord Casino: A 2025 Launch Under an Estonian Licence

Launched in 2025, Possu is the youngest of the Njord brands and wraps a proven platform in a cheerful piggy-bank theme. It runs under the Estonian EMTA licence, whatever older Finnish pages say.

The youngest brand in a familiar family

Possu opened in 2025, which makes it the newest of the five Njord casinos we review and the most recent addition to a group that has been in Estonia since 2023. The name suggests a piggy bank, and the design leans into it with pink tones and a coin mascot. Behind the cheerful front sits the same platform as Buumi, Hillo, Slotti and KoiCasino.

For a new casino, that is an unusual starting position. Possu has no history of its own to judge, yet its cashier, terms and game library have been running for years under other names. This review looks at what is new about Possu, what is inherited, and the licence confusion you may run into when you search for it.

Curaçao or Estonia? Sorting out the licence

Some Finnish sources still describe Possu as a Curaçao-licensed casino. For the Estonian site, that is wrong. Possu's Estonian domain is on the list of permitted remote gambling sites kept by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (EMTA), and it operates under Njord Vantage Services LTD's activity licence HKT000071 and operating permit HKL000400.

The permit is valid from 17 January 2023 to 17 January 2028, so Possu launched into an existing approval. The licence holder is a Cyprus-registered company. Third-party sites sometimes name Njord Ventures B.V., the parent group, but the LTD holds the Estonian licence.

Why does this matter to you? An EMTA licence means Estonian rules apply to your account, and as a private player you pay no income tax on what you win. When a page mentions Curaçao next to the Possu name, check which country it is written for. For a player in Estonia, the EMTA listing is the one that counts, and you can look up the operator name or the licence numbers on that list yourself.

A savings theme on a gambling site

Possu's branding plays with the idea of saving pennies. It is a light, friendly look, and it stands out among casinos that mostly go for dark backgrounds and gold trim. We like it as design. The piggy bank does not change the maths of any game in the lobby, though, and money deposited here is money spent on entertainment.

Where the theme does connect with reality is the low entry point. You can start with €1, which suits a small-stakes, coins-in-the-jar approach to play. Just keep the withdrawal rules, covered below, in mind before you treat small deposits as a strategy.

Logging in with your bank

Possu, like its sister sites, uses Pay N Play through Brite. Your bank handles identification and the first deposit creates your account:

  1. Choose a deposit amount on Possu's front page.
  2. In the Brite window, select Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Luminor or Coop Pank.
  3. Log in to your bank and approve the payment.
  4. Return to Possu with an open session and the deposit in your balance.

Revolut may appear in the cashier list as well, though we do not treat it as confirmed. Cards, e-wallets and crypto are not available to Estonian players. Even with bank identification, Possu can ask for ID documents later, usually around bigger withdrawals, and third-party reviewers warn that the terms allow little time to provide them.

Small coins in, €20 out

The €1 minimum deposit is the friendly part. The €20 minimum withdrawal is the part to plan around. Anything below €20 in your balance stays on the site, and the only way to change that is to play on until you either cross the line or lose the money.

A sensible approach: if you are depositing to have a look around, €1 or €2 is fine and you should consider it spent. If you want a real chance to withdraw, start with €20. That amount also clears the €5 qualifying level for the daily cashback.

When the money reaches your bank

Possu sends withdrawals back to the account you deposited from. After approval, most arrive within minutes, but Possu makes no firm commitment on timing. An identity request or your bank's processing cut-off can delay a payout, sometimes into the next day. The daily ceiling is publicly reported at €10,000.

One practical note for a new brand: since payouts only go to the bank account you deposited from, you cannot redirect winnings to a friend's account or a different bank. If you have changed banks since your last deposit, ask support how the payout will be routed before you request it. That rule protects you as much as the casino, because nobody can log in as you without your own bank credentials.

No welcome bonus: what Possu has instead

New casinos usually launch with a big sign-up offer. Possu does not show one on its Estonian site. That is consistent with the rest of the Njord group in Estonia, where Buumi removed its welcome bonus in February 2026 and the other brands show none.

What you get instead is the recurring promotion we found across the group: a daily refund of up to 15% of whatever you lost, net, the day before. It is paid as bonus money, it carries 10× wagering, and it must be used the same day. Deposits from €5 qualify. A €30 loss would bring back up to €4.50, which you would need to wager €45 to release. These terms are reported and can change, so read the current campaign page before counting on them.

Pragmatic Play's Drops & Wins network tournaments and occasional provider campaigns also appear. No VIP or loyalty programme is advertised for Estonia.

What you can play

The game lobby runs to several thousand titles, most of them slots. Thirteen studios make up the shared Njord list. The best known are Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO and NetEnt; Nolimit City, Hacksaw Gaming and Push Gaming cover the volatile end; and Thunderkick, Quickspin, Relax Gaming, Red Tiger, Wazdan, iSoftBet and Blueprint Gaming complete it. Jackpot games and a set of crash and fast games sit alongside the slots. Possu does not publish a game count.

Live dealers

Live tables come from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live, with roulette, blackjack, baccarat and studio game shows. For a brand this young, the live offering is well developed, because it is inherited in full from the platform.

What Possu leaves out

There is no sportsbook, poker room or bingo. Possu is a pure casino.

Mobile and support

There is no app. Possu works in a mobile browser and the bank login behaves the same on phone and desktop.

Support runs through live chat. Possu's email address is not confirmed in the sources we rely on, so use the email option in the help section instead of guessing an address. We could not confirm 24/7 chat hours either. English is the safest language for support; Estonian replies may or may not be available.

New name, shared foundations

Possu is the twelfth brand on Njord's platform. The other eleven are Buumi, Hillo, Slotti and KoiCasino, plus Lysti, Pommi, Nopein, Firespin, Kruuna, Shokki and Joker.io. All of them run on the same software, with the same terms, cashier and support. Open any two side by side and only the artwork differs.

For a 2025 launch, this has an upside and a limit. You get a platform with a record of payments and licensing behind it, which a genuinely new operator could not give you. You do not get anything you could not find at an older sister brand. If you already play at one of them, Possu is a change of scenery.

Who Possu suits, and who should pass

Possu makes most sense for a casual player who wants a casino that does not look like a casino. The pink palette and the coin mascot feel closer to a mobile game than to a high-roller lounge, and a €1 deposit fits that mood. If you are new to bank-login casinos, the flow is about as simple as online gambling gets in Estonia.

It makes less sense for several kinds of player. Bonus hunters will find nothing to claim. Sports bettors need a different operator. And anyone who already holds an account at Buumi, Hillo, Slotti or KoiCasino would be opening a second door into the same building. Players who care about a long public record may also prefer an older sibling, since Possu's own history only starts in 2025.

Pros and cons of Possu

Strengths:

  • A new brand built on an established, EMTA-licensed platform.
  • A playful design that looks different from most casinos.
  • Bank login with Brite and no registration form.
  • Deposits from €1.
  • A large lobby and live tables from Evolution and Pragmatic Play.

Weaknesses:

  • No welcome offer for Estonian players.
  • No confirmed support email address.
  • Little track record under the Possu name.

Safer play and our final word

Estonian law sets the minimum age at 21. Possu's on-site limit tools are basic, so set your own spending limits before you play. HAMPI, the national self-exclusion system, blocks you from all licensed operators at once, and free support is available on 15410.

Possu is worth a look if you like its design and want a bank-login casino with tiny minimum stakes. It is the newest name in the Njord group, and the casino underneath has years of operation behind it. Skip it if you are after a welcome bonus or already have an account at one of its eleven siblings.

FAQ

Is Possu run under a Curaçao licence?
Not in Estonia. Some Finnish sources still mention Curaçao, but Possu's Estonian site is on EMTA's list and runs under Njord Vantage Services LTD's licence HKT000071 and permit HKL000400.
What makes Possu different from Buumi or Hillo?
Mainly the design. Possu shares its operator, cashier, terms and game lobby with the other Njord casinos. The piggy-bank theme and the 2025 launch date are what set it apart.
Can I install a Possu app on my phone?
There is no Possu app. The casino works in your mobile browser, and you log in through your bank with Brite, so the phone experience matches the desktop one.
What tools does Possu give me to control my spending?
The on-site limit tools are basic. Set your own budget before depositing, and use HAMPI if you want to block yourself from every licensed Estonian casino. The helpline 15410 is free.
